That's so cool. I wish more people did live shows as a family thing. To me, it's one of the best things you can do. Call me sappy, but I love the sense of connection I get at a show. I dunno, maybe it isn't that way at ALL shows, but that's how I feel at a Radiohead show. I'd imagine Counting Crows would be the same way, yeah?

The girl-child and I went to Bonnaroo '06 together, along with some friends of mine. We went for Radiohead, of course. No one else on this planet could make me sleep in a tent for 4 days and wash my hair in a garden hose *g* But the whole festival was such a great experience for us as mother and daughter. It's so neat that you and your family do that too. Even though your DH didn't like them, he still went, which is awesome :)

Is your big girl going to catch Radiohead this tour?

Hm. I was this excited about seeing the Counting Crows. Which makes me either in my 40's or a pothead. But not both. We took the entire family and saw them with Collective Soul (who were wonderful) Live (who were not so much) and the Crows (who were unbelievable). Good times. My husband hates them. Wine coolers helped him get through the evening.

Have fun Ally. My big girl REALLY wants to see them, too.
